AMERICAN AIRLINES FEDERAL INSPECTION FACILITY

The Federal Inspection Services Facility (FIS) is a key component of the North Terminal Development (NTD) at Miami International Airport. The elements of the program include: Immigration and Naturalization (INS) & U.S. Customs, now known as Homeland Security Border Control”.

The Concourse F Terminal Improvements at Miami International Airport expands and modifies Gates F4, F6, and F8; providing additional wide body aircraft service and international capacity.

This system at Miami International Airport connects 8 concourses, 145 aircraft gates, 6 parking structures and an intermodal transportation exchange among helicopters, commercial ground transportation and a seaport busing operation.

The MC Harry / Beauchamp Design/Build Team, in conjunction with train manufacturer Leitner Poma, was commissioned to design, construct, manufacture and install a state of the art replacement APM (automated people mover) System to improve international passenger arrival and departure movement to and from the Concourse E Satellite Terminal.

MCHarry Associates completed a Master Plan and Conceptual Design of an Intermodal Transportation Station Complex linking Amtrak, Tri-Rail, and Metrorail public transit components with the Miami International Airport.

Originally conceived as a catalyst to revitalize and stimulate growth at a underutilized airport within the Miami-Dade Aviation system, Opa Locka’s Hangar One Executive Terminal delivers on its promise.  Since its completion it has borne witness to a dramatic increase in facilities utilization.


AIRPORT RESCUE AND FIRE FIGHTING FACILITY

This multi-function complex includes the airport central emergency operations and main communications center together with a mid-field fire station.  This is a  26,000sf, two story building located between two active airport taxi-ways.

Miami International Airport’s Skyport Terminal was programmed as the first stop in a network of heliports collectively operating as a regional commuter helicopter system serving Dade, Broward, Monroe and Palm Beach Counties.

MCHarry Associates has served CEPA Port Authority in many aspects over the years. MCHarry Associates designed a 400,000 sq ft, 20-gate expansion of the existing 6-gate terminal which serves immigrations customs facilities.


TECHNIPORT AVIATION SUPPORT FACILITY

The Techniport Aviation Support Facility comprises the first phase of a multi- purpose complex designed to ultimately consolidate onto one 35 acre site. Currently various aviation support activities inefficiently spread over some 75 acres of land along the northern perimeter of Miami International Airport.


Concourse e international arrivals complex

The program requirements for the Concourse E Terminal was to create a free-standing (satellite) international arrivals terminal, able to accommodate the first 747 jumbo jets to be placed into commercial operation.
