Mr. Piersol’s professional career has focused on the design and construction of transportation, education, and historic restoration projects. He is responsible for the contract management of all work performed by the firm and is particularly adept at managing the schedule and cost constraints typically imposed on large scale, complex public projects. Jim has directed a significant portion of his time and talent to improving the built environment in South Florida with several award winning educational and municipal projects and the historic restoration of several landmark buildings. He is a Certified Construction Specifier, Past President of the Construction Specifications Institute Miami Chapter, an active member of Florida International University’s President’s Council, and a recent inductee into the Miami Dade College Hall of Fame.
Jim has been an MCHarry Associates Principal since 1985 after beginning with the office in 1977.
